The collection is housed on the third floor of the Natural Resources Building on the campus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, located at:

Adjacent lab space and workrooms are available for visiting researchers.
Access to the collection by qualified researchers, typically available on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., may be arranged by contacting the Interim Curator, Dusty Swedberg, the Collection Manager, Enrique Santoyo-Brito, Ph.D., or the Emeritus Curator, Chris Taylor, Ph.D.
